Kristina is an AHPRA Registered Psychologist with experience across a wide range of mental health conditions and has worked overseas and in Australia.
She believes in the value of personalising evidence-based approaches to individual client’s needs and goals. Working from a Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy framework, Kristina utilises principles and techniques from a range of other evidence-based approaches, including Short-term Psychodynamic Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness.
Kristina has experience in helping adults of all ages with a range of presentations, including mood disorders, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, trauma and emotional regulation. She is passionate about supporting people in developing skills to improve their mental health and well-being. Her therapeutic style is open and flexible and she focuses on developing a safe, non-judgmental approach and supportive space for clients.
Apart from English, Kristina is fluent in Slovak and Czech.
